The Alcohol and Drug Foundation – Queensland (ADFQ) first became accredited under the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 quality standards in 1 June 2000 and has continued to show it’s commitment to quality improvement. In 2009 ADFQ / interlock was successfully accredited under the revised ISO 9001:2008 standards by Compliance Australia Certification Service. As part of this accreditation, the following services are covered:
All of these programs are also covered under the Queensland Government’s Quality Assured Supplier certification program. In 2009, our Drug Rehabilitation Service – Logan House was successful in its accreditation review and as such awarded accreditation under the internationally recognised Quality Improvement Council Standards. These standards designed primarily for the health and community care sector focus on three primary areas of quality. 1. Building Quality Organisations, 2. Providing Quality Services which includes a standalone ATODS specific module and 3. Sustaining Quality External Relationships. As a further testament to ADFQ’s commitment to quality improvement, our Gambling Help program is in the process of applying for accreditation under the Standards for Community Services. All of these initiatives are designed to ensure that ADFQ remains focussed on improving our services and ensuring that all programs and initiatives are delivered in a way that ensures quality outcomes for our clients, stakeholders and affiliates. Our commitment continues by ensuring that all of our divisions meet and exceed the criteria set under industry recognised quality assurance accreditation standards. To achieve our aims we:
ADFQ has proven its commitment to the quality process and continues to dedicate more funding and resources in ensuring our operations are leading the field and upholding quality standards and systems. This is a commitment echoed in all of its divisions and is impressed to all staff members. As with all Quality Assurance commitments, ADFQ recognises that quality assurance and improvement is an ongoing and evolving process and as such, continues to change and improve its processes to ensure that we exceed all accreditations standards.
