The Holyoake Program for family and friends addresses the specific needs and concerns of those who have a loved one with a drinking or drug problem.

Holyoake is part of a national program which has helped many people all over Australia by:

  • providing information on the effects of substance use and ways to reduce the impact on yourself and others involved
  • assisting families to develop practical ways to create positive change and reduce substance problems
  • supporting families affected by alcohol and drug problems to learn healthy coping skills which promote wellbeing and improve their quality of life.

All services are provided in a confidential, non-judgemental and professional setting, by an understanding and experienced counsellor.

Education support groups for family and friends of those with a drinking or drug problem provide a safe and effective way for people to work through the stress and emotional impact associated with alcohol and other drug problems.
