The Australian Winter School is an annual alcohol and drug conference organised by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation – Queensland (ADFQ), a community based organisation whose programs cover prevention, education, treatment and rehabilitation. The major emphasis of the conference is on the practical implementation and implications of research and policy, combined with the showcasing of innovative programs. The theme of the 2010 conference which will be held in Brisbane from 21 – 23 June, 2010 is “Back to Basics: A Commonsense Approach”.
